Norfolk Island is a little dot in the South Pacific and holds a unique place in British and South Pacific history. It is a relaxing holiday that you are guaranteed to enjoy - with scenic views that are a photographer’s delight, warm friendly locals and low duty status.
You will be able to step back in time and experience a ride in the Culla& Co carriage tour. Culla and his Clydesdale horses take you clip clopping down ‘memory lane’. Many may not have experienced ‘horse travel’ before. You are able to enjoy morning tea from a cliff top property.
‘Wonderland By Night’ where poetry written by Archie Bigg a descendent of the bounty mutineers, is recited and diaramas are lit up. You will wander along the winding path of the 10 acre bushland. A chance to perhaps relive your childhood.
The Convict Settlement tour gives you the chance to hear the history of early Kingston. You are able to walk through the cemetery and hear the sad stories of the convicts buried there. Walking around the gaol, hospital ruins and pier you hear many stories of the tough early settlement life. You will also get to enjoy an ‘island fish fry’ at Puppys Point. A feast of island salads, breads and fresh fried fish followed by local desserts. Island dancing and music is also enjoyed while eating your evening meal.
A progressive dinner is also offered, you will experience a three course dinner in 3 Island homes, commencing at Helen Reddy’s home. A fun night and a great way to meet the local people.
